GJ 3.0 RC1. Cannot access user profile after install

OK I am new to GJ so I am not sure where to start.


I have installed and published all plugins however when the main plugin is activated I cannot access the user profile as it throws an Error: 1064 ( with a long SQL statement ).

I did not find a manual for RC3.0 and the older manual is quite different.

Any tips?

Hi, as it's Sunday, I have your solution but I will point out it is mentioned in recent posts and the GJ RC1 News discussion thread.

Install CB Activity latest nightly. Fixed it for me and a few others. Hope that solves

Yup, please note that we also have newer versions of GJ (RC2) and other add-ons.

Silly me I did installed Nightly Builds of CB and GJ but not the CB Latest Activity.
Now it works.

My problem is that since I am new to it I don't know how to place GJ on a site and make the most of it.
I tried to read the manual of the previous version but it's not accurate for this version. For example I cannot create a menu as per the PDF manual, so I have to experiment creating myself the menus.

I managed to create a menu item that lists the categories and from there go inside the groups of each category. Surely this isn't the only way I can place GJ on a site. Is there somewhere a document or a video presentation of GJ that I can refer to? Maybe even a live site which using it so I can see it working in its full potential?
