Hello, this is not really a problem that I have, but its just something that I dont like. I use different access levels to display stuff on my site for the relevant people.
I run some gameserver and game admins get Author access, since this is the lowest. They have access to an admin menu with information and stuff. Then I have site admins that get editor access, they get more access to the site stuff and more stuff in the admin menu.
Now, the thing I dont like is that my game server admins do have access to join groups without approval from the group owner. They can also promote themself to owners of the group and kick people out, even deleting the group. Why does authors have this kind of access?
Is it possible to make the authors get the same access as normal users in groupjive? I dont even want editors or publishers to have this kind of access, only administrators and superusers should be able to do this.
Your game sever admins are marked as CB Moderators. They've full moderation privileges throughout CB. This is nothing specific to GJ, but how you have your site setup. No, it's not possible to set more specific frontend permissions in GJ or CB at this time.
