Hello

My site will have users who will post their profiles in Thai.
I tested the site itself, the UddeIM, Kunena Forums and JChat..it all works.

The CB profiles don't yet.
Just need to find out how to configure CB to accept the language font.

For now, I won't bother with the Profile menu items just yet.

Can someone direct me in the right direction?

There is a Thai project here:

www.transifex.com/joomlapolis/cb/language/th_TH/

but it is not very advanced.

Perhaps you can join and help out.

Also your CB Primer BOOK has a chapter on language plugins.

Thanks for the answer..

Right now, the menus and everything else will remain in English. Don't want to complicate the site until I have this one going first. (As well as my own knowledge)
Thing is..I live in Thailand and the site will be open for Thai people as well, to complete their profile.

It is OK to keep the menu items etc in English, but when they complete their profile in the text editor fields..they need to be able to do so.

It's just that the text editor fields don't accept the Thai font.. in the profiles it changes to "?????". I have no problem with the Chat, uddeIM and Kunena forums.. they display the Thai font.

I am trying to find out how to get the font in the profiles.

This means that your database/tables/columns has some elements not set to utf8_general_ci collation. Google for it and use phpmyadmin to fix this.

Great!

I hope you can join all the transifex Joomlapolis projects for this language and help translated.
