Good Morning CB People. :)

I'm wondering what I've messed up now... lol

I am building another site and I set the activity stream (renamed to: What's New) on home page. It is set to registered so should only display to logged in members.

Somehow, it is showing on homepage when not logged in. (to guests/public)

The module is set to 'registered'

Nothing else seems to be acting out of order. One other thing I did notice, the view when not logged in does not show the module title, even though I have that set to 'show'.

Latest build of all software.
Protostar template.
PHP 5.5.30

Any ideas?

thank you kindly,

a very puzzled Satchi

Assuming you have created a Joomla menu item for this.
If so then Joomla is really responsible for this.

Please check your Joomla -> Global configuration -> Site -> Default Access Level parameter and make sure it is set to Public.

Hi Nant,

Thanks for the quick reply.

It is set to public. Maybe it should be Guest? lol

I have menu item. That setting was public. I cleared out all cache (sometimes that causes weird things) and turned that off. No help. It still isn't respecting the ACL.

I have to get to work on other stuff but will dig in later. This is really annoying. I know it must be something small and I will be embarrassed when I figure it out.

best to you,

Satchi

Is your Joomla menu for CB Activity Public?

Is so then everything is working just fine as CB Activity can only be configured for create ACL privileges.
