Subscriptions not expiring was created by notyooagain
Hi
Am still having problems with the non expiry of member subscriptions. I have attached screenshots to hopefully clarify what I am trying to describe.
Screenshot 1 shows the member's subscription expired on Dec 10th 2015 and screenshot 2 shows the registration date as Nov 10th 2015 and still shows the membership as enabled.(membership was for 30 days when they registered but has been changed now to 90 days) A system email was sent advising that the membership had expired but obviously that did not happen and the search list still shows their profile which should not be showing.
Can you please advise what is causing this as I had done all I can to find the problem.

Also I get this message "DateTimeZone::__construct(): Unknown or bad timezone ()" when I try to set for Sydney Australia and have to reset for Brisbane which is on a different time, not daylight saving like Sydney. Any advise please?

Have downloaded and installed on Nov 21 the nightly builds CBSubs-4.0.1.ci.2015.10.30.00.20 and pkg_communitybuilder_2.0.12.ci.2015.11.18.00.20

Thanks

Not sure what the issue is.
The user is not showing an active subscription in your CB USer Management page (nothing in the subscriptions column).

The issue is that the system cancelled the subscription and sent the member an email to that effect(screenshot5) however the members profile shows as still active (screenshot4). The profile is still active and shows up in a search for the username (screenshot3)but the weird thing is a field text is now not displayed in the search results as it was before the system cancelled the subcription.

Can you also advise what to do re the time zone issue as mentioned earlier.

Thanks, hope I have made it clearer for you

Screenshot 4 just shows that the user is stoll registered and activThat has nothing to so with the membership subscirpion to the CBSubs plan that has expired just fine.

If you want people to be disactivated and not able to login to your website without a CBSubs subscription you need to configure CBSubs for this.
Check your CBSubs Settings -> General tab parameters

The first three can be used to configure such a use case - suggest you stidy the CBSubs documentation on this also.

No idea about this - need to check.

Hi Nant
I have checked the forums and read the CBSubs manual and spent days trying to resolve this and cannot seem to get it corrected. There is obviously something that I am missing. Are you please able to check the settings on my site?

First of all you have a basic misunderstanding.

Expired subscriptions do not by default mean that users cannot login to your website.
It just means that they will not be able to access any areas of your website that you have protected with CBSubs plans.

Once you understand this fact, you then need to decide what else you want.

Your configuration is expiring the subscriptions just fine.

Are you also wanting to lock people from loging in without an active subscription?

This concept is addressed in the manual.
