XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error registering a new user

Hi,
I have a problem with a new user registration. The registration cannot complete - returning a blank page with XML-RPC Error (404): Unknown error.
My configuration is:
Joomla 3.4.5
CB 2.0.12 Nightly Build

I don't know how to debug the error. The debug in joomla is on but show no errors.
Any advices?

I noticed that if I sync users manually with the button - CB-Tools-Synchronize users and try again to login - everything is ok.
Is there a way to auto-sync users? Maybe with auto actions?

How are you registering exactly? I could see that maybe being an API response error when using CB Connect, but a normal registration would likely be from a 3rd party Joomla system or user extension.
