Hi Kyle,

Since CB powers my whole website and has its fingers pretty much in all parts of my website (and I think I am using nearly all the plugins), I would like to make sure that I do not make any mistakes that mean downtime for the website.

I have found one setting in CB main part that needs to be swiched but no idea if I am missing any (eg registration)...

Leave live_site empty in configuration.php and setup a domain redirect from http to https in your htaccess file or from your hosts control panel (if they've such a feature). Beyond that you need to do nothing else. You only need to configure secure login within your CB Login module if you want to allow browsing in HTTP, but form submit as HTTPS. However, it's best to go full HTTPS or not at all in my experience.

Hi,
I have got now Cloudflare and have gone to SSL. I have had to update the live_site to " munich.international-friends.net/ " as I cannot write a htaccess rule for it (Multi-sites environment). Will it affect anything in CB considering that you have written

As long as you maintain that parameter it's fine. For example if you change domain name you need to update live_site. I recommend just leaving live_site empty and trying the "Force HTTPS" parameter in Joomla global configuration under the Server tab.
