[SOLVED] CSubs URL display link returning "you are not authorized to view this page"

Hi,

Tearing my hair out. I'm sure I'm overlooking a simple fix. We just went through a site upgrade to GJ, CB 2.0 and Joomla 3.4. I have 50 subscription plans that were working pre-upgrade - now all are returning: "You are not authorized to view this page! You need to log in." when somebody tries to access the subscription sign-up page. All my menus are set to "public" access. Is there an obvious solution that I'm missing"

Hi, my hosting service Cloudaccess looked at their end and offered the following:

"If Csubs is creating the link, it's probably not an issue with Joomla - check the configuration for a spot to select a template - make sure that Community Builder is using the right template and see if there is a setting in csubs to select a template - also check the subs levels in the configuration - since it's a subscription extension, the default level might not be set to public."

I'm currently dead in the water and cannot sign-up any new members.

Help!!!!!

Sorry to be insistent. Still dead in the water. We've tried everything we know. And we have several end of year offers we want to get out.

Any ideas about what's causing this?

I'm going to bump this to see if I can at least get somebody to say they won't be responding to my problem. I run a merchant site and nobody can buy from me. We're still trying to get a Christmas promotion done today. I've been dead in the water for two days.

Help!

If you migrated from CB 1.x you need to edit all of your Joomla menu items linking to CB and correct the menutype. CB 1.x didn't create proper internal Joomla menu items. Please always be sure to upgrade on a clone before upgrading a live site so you know what issues to expect (no migration will ever be problem-free).

Once done edit your CBSubs plans within CBSubs > Plans and ensure both "Visible for Access Level" and "Visible for Group (and above this group)" are set to "Public" for public access.

If issue persists please PM backend super administrator login credentials with exact steps to reproduce and will take a look.
