Unable to login with CB Connect for Facebook

On my site I have installed and configured plugin at nirankari.org/intranet_stage/
Clicking on login with facebook, redirects to facebook, logs into facebook but when it redirects back to my site it gives message
Authentication failed! Facebook returned an invalid user id.

Appreciate prompt help.
Also I would like that for sign up also I allow for user registration also using FB login. How do I achieve same. Again I am not able to find much documentation anywhere

Please review the news topic below carefully.

The requirements are absolute and must be met. It will not work on PHP 5.3. Please be sure to test with debug mode and maximum error reporting enabled in Joomla global configuration.

Thanks for update. Yes we did update PHP version and very carefully reviewed the requirements
We installed the latest CB connect nightly build.

Here is behavior we are seeing and not very clear around its root cause
Our site url : nirankari.org/intranet_stage/index.php

If FB Connect mode in plugin is set to Single Sign ON then here is what we see
Fox Existing Site User
- FB logs in user correctly
- After FB login user is redirected back correctly
- But see following message The email 'email address' is already in use.
So question
- what do we for all existing site users who also have FB account

If they're an existing user they need to use the Link feature. This is done by logging in normally then clicking the Link button. Otherwise it just looks like another registration, which is failed because their email address is already in use.

Thanks Kyle . This makes sense and was able to see that working

Now can you please help me understand new user creation flow. How can we make sure new user registration uses data coming from facebook to make registration easy

Basic information needed for registration is already synchronized (name, username, email, and avatar). If no email is provided it'll ask for one to complete the registration. Any additional fields can be mapped from CB Connect configuration on the Registration tabs of the various social sites, but none of that is guaranteed.
