profile logger email only coming for new users

I have created a field named 'cb_update' (and plan to add more fields eventually) that I want users to fill in now and then, and when they do I want to get an email with these changes. As it is now, I only get an email from the logger when a user sets an avatar, after the initial registration. Is this by design? I would like to be able to make this change but I cant figure out how to do it. I looked in the profile logger tab and plugin area but no parameters seem to be specific for this task. Is this something I will need to do in the code?

I will be pushing out a new 2.1 release of the profile update logger later today - please update and retest once it is released.
