There was no other solution. I have added a postal zip code search. I am sorting the array with the search results according to the distance of their zip code. I don't know how I can use the result array with cb auto actions.
I have more changes that I cannot configurate in the cb preferences.

You don't need to alter core code for that, but instead you need to create a new CB fieldtype plugin (use our existing fieldtype plugins as examples) with custom searching (we've a function to determine search behavior of a field).

Altering core code is always just going to be a shortcut that's going to cost you more time and trouble in the end as now you've basically ruined your ability to easily keep up to date. With our new rapid development schedule, nightly releases, and soon builds to get away from stable/nightly entirely you'll very quickly go out of date.
