[#5719] How to prevent "Admin" from removing "Super Admin" Account?

Hello,

I sure hope this is possible with the new CB 2.0.

Here is what we do, all our clients have administrator level only NOT super administrator. However we must give them access to the CB user management area so they can look after there site users, how can we set our sites so they are not able to remove our Super admin account. As once they do this they have broken the site and we can no longer login to provide updates and support.

I sure hope there is an easy way to do this.

They shouldn't be able to edit anyone above them. It should error when they try to. Are you saying an Administrator can freely edit a Super User in CB > User Management?

Hello,

They were able to delete the Super admin user. I did not test for being able to edit.

This was never like this in the past, but my guess is something changed that now allows administrator level to be able to delete the Super Admin.

Can you please check this as soon as possible and confirm if im going insane.

Looks like edit access is blocked, but they can indeed delete them. Strange. Have added a bug ticket to fix that missing permissions check.

Yes, it will be fixed in a nightly release at some point and in 2.0.13.
