Hi -

I have multiple servers I use to support my website, one for development, one for QA and one for production. I would like to be able to configure my CBSubs system on the development server and then easily copy it to the QA server and then to the production server when ready.

I've looked through the docs and forum but can't find anything.

Is there a way to do this?

TIA

Install CBSubs on both then export and import your _cbsubs database tables. Then empty the following tables to remove any testing data.

_cbsubs_donations
_cbsubs_history
_cbsubs_mailer_mailqueue
_cbsubs_mailer_sentmails
_cbsubs_merchandises
_cbsubs_notifications
_cbsubs_payments
_cbsubs_payment_baskets
_cbsubs_payment_items
_cbsubs_payment_totalizers
_cbsubs_promotions_uses
_cbsubs_subscriptions

Will I loose any active subscriptions on the production machine when moving the new configuration over?

Yes, if you're trying to move new configuration from one CBSubs to an existing CBSubs you're going to have huge problems. I assumed you were moving CBSubs to a site without CBSubs usage. Make a backup before you do any row imports. You'll need to exclude all the following from your import to prevent existing subscriptions from being overridden.

_cbsubs_donations
_cbsubs_history
_cbsubs_mailer_mailqueue
_cbsubs_mailer_sentmails
_cbsubs_merchandises
_cbsubs_notifications
_cbsubs_payments
_cbsubs_payment_baskets
_cbsubs_payment_items
_cbsubs_payment_totalizers
_cbsubs_promotions_uses
_cbsubs_subscriptions

Got it. Going from Dev to QA isn't an issue, but there are active subscriptions on the production box so I'll need to be careful.

Thanks
