Hi,
after installing your nightly from yesterday 16.2.2016, I get the notification (see image)
there's an upgrade.

Seems something is wrong in your nightly! Please look

The nightly version is now properly added to CBs version display. You'll notice in CB > Configuration and for core plugins in CB > Plugin Management it properly shows the nightly release you've installed.

We didn't add the nightly release to JPs version XML endpoint. So it thinks you're out of date. I've added a bug ticket to fix the CB version checker to ignore versions above the latest stable release that JP sends.

this continues: after installing nightly cb, I always get the error information, there is an update (but infact it's a down-date). This is not resolved and start for me with a perpetuum mobile! Update-downdate-update...

It works fine with latest nightly. The nightly build is only shown in CB > Configuration and for core plugins in CB > Plugin Management. It will not show in Joomla because Joomla can't handle build version compares.

CB and Joomla version checkers will ignore the nightly builds and will indicate that they're up to date. If Joomla is still showing CB out of date then clear the update cache as the update is likely cached.

what you are saying is not working, I can do what I want, there is always new update back!

Ok, we were able to confirm on a clean install. The package XML wasn't supposed to have the build number in it as it was meant for display purposes only. I've added a bug ticket to fix. For now just ignore it.
