Is there any way that the search drop down items for a member list can be places in a sidebar module position instead of being in the centre of the page like in the attached gra[ic?
No, we don't have a search module yet. If you moved them with jQuery to somewhere else in the DOM it won't work as the the search is done by submitting the userlist form.
