I found some 2011/2012 posts about this, but there were no solutions. I have the most recent released versions of all plugins. Not necessarily nightly builds. I think this is related to CB Core Fields Ajax 3.0.0, but not sure.
On my Forgotten Login screen, AJAX checker runs when you type in the username and email address, leaving a blank drop down under each field. Pressing "Send Password" will tell you the fields are required, then the ajax field disappears. Not changing anything and pressing "Send Password" will make the submission work. I've attached two attachments showing the process. How can I disable AJAX checking on the Forgotten Login screens?
The blank dropdown is due to either out of date CB Code Field or CB Query Field. It's a bug in their "Update On" ajax response handling that's fixed in their latest releases. There's no parameter to disable the ajax validation on the forgot login form.
