hello, I am looking into using the SugaryCB plugin. We are using suitecrm which is a fork of Sugar Version 6.5.20 (Build 1001). The SugaryCB plugin is is tested with Community Builder 1.9 only. How much different is 1.9 as compared to 2.x in regards to third party plugins? The sugarycb plugin is open source so it can be modified to work with cb 2.0.. Any information you could provide would be very cool! Thanks

A lot of API has changed. A lot of API has been deprecated. Some API has been removed. CB 1.x plugins are not compatible with CB 2.x. If they work then that's great, but I wouldn't expect them to. They would need to retest their plugin to ensure it still functions and adjust anything that needs to be changed. The basic plugin class structure is unchanged though so should only be API related adjustments.

Nope, your best option is to reach out to the original developer to see if they've plans to upgrade it for CB 2.x.

We don't have any at this time. Full API documentation is being worked on for our new site once launched in addition to internal phpdoc improvements. We've marked deprecated functions as deprecated and noted what you should be using instead so an editor like PhpStorm with CB as a project should auto-complete fine.
