In the case of a multilanguage site, how does CBSubs determine which language file to use when it sends automated mail (such as account expiration notice) to a specific customer? Is there a database field somewhere to which it refers? It seems that there are times when the wrong language text is being sent to some users. I was told in the forum 2 years 10 months ago that:
"It will always use the sites default language (Mass Mailer for example will always use the language of the admin sending the email). We'll be fixing this with a later release as ideally it should use the language of the user the email is being sent to."

Is such a fix forthcoming in my lifetime?

Don't recall if CBSubs is using the CB notification API, but if it is it'll be based off the recipient users language as selected in their profile otherwise it'll be based off the sites default language. So I think it just depends entirely on what email usage you're talking about and the best way to find out is to try it. Regardless it will be improved in a later release to always use the recipients language if the recipient is a user.
