[SOLVED] 403 error message was created by LineMine
Hi
I tried entering a code snippet into the description of a GroupJive event yesterday (trying out payment buttons), and got a 403 message (see below), testing as a registered user and the owner of the group. Now, however, even logged into the front as Admin I still get it for simple updates to events, and posts in GroupJive Wall won't save. I can't work what I've done, and I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction, as I've looked at all the things I can think of.

"You don't have permission to access /brighton-groups/pluginclass on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Sounds like mod_security. Contact your host and see if mod_security has triggered any errors/warnings at the time of your test.

Thanks for that suggestion, and you were right. Its cleared the main problem of error messages on updates to events, which seems to be working fine now.
However, I still can't seem to save posts on the wall in Groupjive. It says they are saved successfully, but nothing appears. They are saving via Admin in the back end fine.

Ensure you've latest GJ 3.x nightly installed. Then enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Once done retest to see if any error outputs. If none check if the wall entry is stored in database table __groupjive_plugin_wall. There's no way for it to show a success message with a failed storage.

Okay, that was interesting, never done that before. I've followed the steps you suggested, and no errors reported, but the Wall posts from the front end are not showing up in the database table, whereas they are from the backend....

It's saying it was stored successfully on frontend, but it doesn't exist in the database? I can't see how that's possible anywhere in the code. Maybe it's being immediately deleted somehow. Please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look.
