OTP Solution was created by sereniteam
Hello,

I'am running a medical care application that requires an OTP ( One Time Password) plug-in for user's access ?

Is there some existing plug-in relative to it ? Who can eventually help us in that matter for CB users ?

Best regards

Vincent

Best I can suggest is to enable generated passwords within CB > Configuration > Registration so they'll be generated a password at time of registration. Next using CB Auto Actions you can act on the after login trigger to change their password with a Field action or if you use a Code action and some PHP code utilizing CB API you can generate a new password using API. You'd need to be more specific as to what you mean by one time password (after successful login? should failed login generate a new one? login attempts logged?).

Well Thank you but I am not sure to get it.

I have implement a plugin called "2 facteurs authentification" on joomla. It works with Google Authenticator and seems to match my request.
Problem is that to activate it, I need to use Joomla user management on witch appears a new tap allowing us to link user with google authenticator generator.

So this seems ok but could be much more efficient if adapted to CB user management. So confirmation mail should include those links and reduce number of va-et vient between both units.

What do you think about it ?

So I set a plug in named "2 facteur Authentification" on Joomla and this needs to be set from Joomla user management. It seems to be quite efficient and works within Google Authentificator application to generate a restrictive code for each user.

Integration with CB is not confortable because confirmation mail don't integrate the QR code to permit User to set its Google Authentificator application.

I think I can do with it and send a second message to user via Joomla user management but it won't be as efficient as it could be if some CB solution appears !

What do you think about it ? What is your position ?

Best regards

You can use authentication plugins with CB. You need to set "Login Method" within CB > Configuration > General to "Username, Email Address, or CMS Authentication Plugins". They should then work fine.
