[SOLVED] Facebook problems with Connect PlugIn

Hello supporters,

I want to use the module to register via Facebook, but have so few problems. In principle, it is, but by "clicking" it is far away and I do not know what I can adjust. Currently it runs as follows:

- After clicking on the icon you will be redirected to Facebook
- You have on Facebook, and then enter a password in Joomla
- Then you have to click on the confirmation mail
- Then login (manual)
- Avatar is not acquired by Facebook
- Canvas picture is not taken

but I want it to work as one to three clicks without mail confirmation, without entering a password twice. Avatar and Canvas image is to be automatically transferred.

Can anyone (even better) show a description or screenshots, what I need to adjust where to make it work me?

With Twitter I've got fewer problems.

Should be a simple 3 step process as follows.

1. Click the Facebook button
2. Login or Register at Facebook
3. Accept the Applications permissions

Once sent back to your site they'll be registered and logged in. Facebook provides email, etc.. Do not map core fields in the field mapping as that's done automatically.

Avatar and Canvas approval are configured within CB Connect > Parameters > Facebook > Registration.

Thanks for the answer!

I have set times, but since the beginning I had problems with Facebook Connect (was a problem of Facebook) I probably moved again what. Now it's working. Also a problem with Twitter I could now resolve.

One question I have: In profile, the lines are displayed to me Facebook ID, Twitter ID and more, even if there is no connection. Is there no suitable setting? All I see is that I can only turn on or off.

They act like normal fields. Meaning if you don't want empty fields to display you must configure within CB > Configuration > User Profile for empty fields to hide. You can also disable the profile display of the fields within CB > Field Management. Alternatively you can use CB Conditional to condition the field to hide if it has no value.
