Problem with CB confirmation email: Appended &Itemid=6

The links inside of our account verification emails are now showing "&Itemid=6" at the end, and this causes them to redirect to login page, rather than to activate the account!!!

example:

ourplace.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=regc11180caa423048d00414aa557dc3c6d07aae590&Itemid=6

If I take the "&Itemid=6" off of the URL, it works perfectly to activate the account.

How did that "&Itemid=6" get in there, and where can I go to edit it out???

So... I deleted that (test) user, and then signed up again (exact same user, maybe different random address text).

THIS TIME, the link in the confirmation email is fine ( no appended &Itemid=6 !!)

so... what just happened? Cosmic rays? I'd still like to be able to look at the code generates that link, maybe I found an extreme edge case... :huh:

CB uses the Itemid that matches the URL. For the confirmation URL that's typically the profile menu item. Edit all your CB menu items and ensure their menu type is correctly set. If you upgraded from CB 1.x you could have some broken CB menu items.
