Hi,

One of the user has disappeared from the database. Does this often happen?
Do you know how can I find this deleted user?

No, never heard of users just disappearing. Do you've CB Privacy installed and the delete me feature enabled? If so they probably deleted themselves. Alternative is one of your moderators probably did it.

Unless you made a database backup there is no restoring them. CB doesn't spontaneously delete users either unless you've configured something to allow doing so. CB Privacy notably has a delete me feature and CB Auto Actions could potentially delete a user with a Code action, but you'd have to utilize that API. Aside from that there's no other frontend user delete usage. You may want to review installed 3rd party extensions as they could potentially delete a user.

Check within the _comprofiler database table and see if their user row still exists. If it does they were deleted from Joomla _users only and not CB.
