Hello,

I am using "CB Connect 7.0.0 Beta". "Sign in" with Facebook and Goolge
works fine.

But I have a question: When a User "Sign in" with Facebook or Goole,
how can he Login a few days later? He did not set a password. When
he click again "Sign in with Facebook" he gets an error:

This E-Mail ... is allrady used.


The user can not log in this way.

What can I do?

Stable has been out for some time now. Please update.

But I have a question: When a User "Sign in" with Facebook or Goole,

Probably due to using the Beta. There was a bug were the fields used by CB Connect which link users together wouldn't work properly. So the accounts wouldn't link, but would still register. To fix this ensure you've latest CB 2.x nightly installed followed by installing CB Connect 7.0.0 stable. This will not fix existing broken users though, they'll need to use forgot login to reset their password, login, then link their accounts again.

Thanks a lot! But now I have two Problems:


After the installation of "7.0 Stable" when I open the CB Connect Plugin in the backend, I get a warning:

A script is broken or busy:

.../media/jui/js/jquery.min.js:4

I can stop or debug it.

I allready deinstalled "CB Connect" and installed it again.








I did delete all users and have tested it again.

I get now a new error: The username ... is allready used.

Maybe it is my configuration:

The username in CB are unique. For example there will
be a lot of "Jonny" in FB.

In my case: If a user allready exists, CB/Joomla create a username like this: 3443535625434

What is the best configuration for username?

Your browser is crashing trying to parse the JS. Try a different browser or ensure your browser is up to date.

The username in CB are unique. For example there will
be a lot of "Jonny" in FB.

It's best to just leave the username alone and it'll properly auto generate it. Otherwise you're going to run into issues like that using just name as name is not unique. You can substitute in [profile_id] to make it unique as that's their social site ID.
