I am having the Plaintext password "business". Another site is converting that password to md5 encoded "f5d7e2532cc9ad16bc2a41222d76f269" and this password they are passed to me through the API.
For Matching the password I am using Joomla's verifyPassword method "JUserHelper::verifyPassword($APIPassword, $DBPass, $Id);".
In the verifyPassword method, I am passing the md5 encoded Password and it returns the {"Status":404,"Message":"Incorrect Email or Password"}.
How to verify the md5 encoded password? Please suggest the solution.
I don't know what this has to do with CB. Please post on the Joomla forums for Joomla API usage. We're not handling password encoding, verification, or storage as it's entirely handled through Joomla user object.
