Edit your Joomla menu item that links to GJ. You said you already changed it menutype to Communiy Builder > Plugin and selected CB GroupJive from the dropdown. Just below that Plugin parameter is a parameter to select the Action.

The Action parameter is missing. This means CB GroupJive is likely out of date or unpublished. Install latest releases from our downloads page below.
