I think this needs to move to Developers, please. I can't see where to do that myself.

my site: epicorg.com

Update: I have downloaded the latest nightly build and installed in my sandbox. Problem persists.

In Profile > Edit Profile the single select dropdown fields are truncated to one or two characters' width. Multi-select dropdown has changed from a list to a field where users must click to see the list then can select. Dropdown select list is so narrow it doesn't show any selections.

Multi-select dropdown seems to work on the registration form.

I'm using J 3.5.1 and CB 2.0.14; CBSubs needs updating to newest version.

I've changed out template recently but tried Protostar and got the same result. Two examples of this:
Keep Profile Private field from Profile edit:

Canvas image tab of profile edit: didn't show up so I left it as an attachment

I'm so sorry. I have discovered it's likely a template issue. I will now go flog the gurus at Rockettheme. I fixed the issue, at least temporarily, by assigning Protostar. Don't know why I thought I had the same issue with it before.

If you have any thoughts on Rockettheme templates and how they play with CB, I would like to know. I love their templates and since I've learned how to navigate Gantry 5 I find the approach to template design very liberating! Imagine, positions anywhere I want them. But that's another forum.

Anyway, marking this one solved.

It's due to your select fields being converted to jQuery Chosen elements. It likely could be Joomlas smart search module doing this as it aggressively converts all select elements on the page (appears to be a bug in Joomla). Switch templates may have just hidden the module as the position being used may not exist on Protostar.

Thanks, Kyle. Disabling Smart Search fixed the issue. I'll let the guys at Rockettheme know it wasn't their fault! :cheer:

Now I can go bug the Joomla folks!
