[strike]We have areas on our site that are restricted to registered users. When a site user tries to access a restricted area when they're not logged in, they are prompted to log in. When we attempt to log in using the login form in the middle of the page, we get a 404 error. This is because the login redirect is going to index.php/members/member-news/component/comprofiler. Where is this link configured? How can we remove it?

Our login module was configured with a login redirection URL (index.php/members/member-news). We removed that link and cleared the cache. Now when logging in with the login module the user is sent back to the home page upon logging in using the login module. (as expected) The redirect problem only occurs when users try to log in using the login module that appears after they try to access a restricted area.[/strike]

The CB login module is working as expected, however the login page (displayed when a site user tries to access a restricted area when they're not logged in) is not using CB, it's using the User - Joomla! plugin. How do we get the login page to use CB instead of the Joomla user plugin?

Within Extensions > Plugins edit "Community Builder System plugin" and under "Parse URLs" set both "Redirect URLs" and "Rewrite URLs" to "Enabled".

That's all there is to enable. If you're not being sent to CBs login then the Joomla login you're seeing is being rendered inline probably by a 3rd party extension. What exactly are you trying to access?

Perhaps this will help: The login redirect link is correct except for some reason "component/comprofiler" is added to the end of it which causes the 404.

Ensure you've valid CB menu items. CB on install creates menu items for all of its views to ensure SEF is done properly. If you're seeing component/comprofiler/ then it's not using an Itemid and SEFing correctly. If you migrated from CB 1.x then be sure to edit all CB menu items and correct their menutype.
