Autocomplete Query input field was created by jpaulcva
Hi,

I need to add a Query field that is able to autofill an input by enter first characters.
The Query Drop Down (Single Select) get all entries on the select but I have more than 10000 results...
Is it possible to do that ? with which field ?

Thanks.

We've no auto-complete functionality at this time. It's planned eventually. Most likely only being a feature of CB Query Field and its select usages. The new "Update On" usage is essentially toying with the idea of a fields select values updating based off another fields value changing, but it's not usable yet with auto-complete usages.

Thanks!

So, do you know how to implement this? Is it possible to extend an exiting CB plugin like Query Field plugin to do that? or using Code Field plugin maybe?
If it is needed to create a new CB plugin, how do that? I don't find the CB plugin developer manual...

Thank you.

No.

Sure if you are experienced with PHP, jQuery, and CB plugin structure and API.

We don't have any documentation for creating plugins at this time.
