Users Forced to Log In was created by damurphy
Whenever I try to access a page other than the home page via a direct URL, CB shows the log in page. I need to change this to show the page even if the user has not logged in since the elements of the pages are already set to registered and will not show anyway.

What is causing this behavior? How do I stop it?

Thanks for your help.

That's not how Joomla works. If the user can't access a registered menu item Joomla sends to user login, which is where CB takes over and sends to CB login instead. If the endpoint doesn't exist it results in a 404. There is no usage where the page is registered access, but still displayed.

Allow me to illustrate:

One page below from the same website shows the K2 item properly:

themannareserve.org/item/67-what-the-bible-says-about-healthy-living

The other page from the same website forces a sign in:

themannareserve.org/downloads-file-listings/category-listing-main-menu/item/4448-the-potential-principle-ebook-cole

Both pages have basically the same content: an abstract and a button to download the material.

Why is this occurring? How do I fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Your second link is being protected by a Joomla menu item set to Registered access. Find the menu item associated with it and change its access to Public. Looks like it's the menu item with the alias "downloads-file-listings". You're simply experiencing normal expected Joomla behavior.
