Hi,
Bit of a dilemma as I got myself confused with the multi-site environment that I am using. For some reason too long to explain here, I need to add users into the DBs of my websites with the user numbers 945,946,947 and 948 (They don"t exist on the child websites yet but on the master website....). I have to introduce them now into the child websites so that my programs down the line can find them. Can I do that over CB or will I need to do that in the Dbs directly (PhpMyadmin and loads of saving...).
Just as I wrote this, thought of another possible solution... Would cbjuice work with a changed ID?
In order of preference on how to do it: 1) CB back-end 2) cb juice .....99999999) direct DB change
You can't set the user id from CB or Joomla. Can only be done in the database and it needs to be done in several locations such as the usergroup mapping table. CB Juice maybe the best option as believe you can set the user id in the import.
