I have a multi-lingual site that I am trying to translate the login module on. I have installed the language override plugin and it works for the English version, but I can not get it to work for the Spanish version of the site. My development site is beta.sbdcglobal.com/ . You will see the login module and the toggle for the two languages in the upper right. On the English site, the username field read, "US Username". On the Spanish site, the username field should read, "ES Username" if the override works. What am I missing to get that to work?

Won't work in CB Login module unless you turn on CB plugin integrations under Login & Logout Options since the language override usage is just a plugin and its strings so it needs to load for those strings to load in.

I have CB Plugin Integrations set to yes in both my English and Spanish login modules. What else?

Do you have the language override file supplied to both your English and Spanish CB language files? It might not work in modules as again it's entirely dependent on plugin loading behavior. CB 2.1 will have official language override functionality built in, but for the module it maybe just easier to edit the strings you want changed directly instead of trying to use the override plugin.

Yes, I have the override files for both. It works perfectly for the English module so we know it can work, but it doesn't work for the Spanish module. How would I change the string when the two different languages are using the same string? Also, that string will get overwritten next time CB is updated, correct?

Each language plugin has a copy of the strings. You'd modify it directly in your Spanish language plugins language files. This is the typical way of changing language strings. The override plugin is simply a possible workaround until we've support for override usage, but isn't guaranteed to work for all locations.

No, it will only get overwritten if you update that language plugin.
