Ok. I can not find where I can translate anything in that CB Login module for my Spanish version. Please help. I've looked in the Spanish language plugins and it doesn't work.

The language strings used in the CB login module are in CBs language files. The defaults are found below.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/

We do not handle translates. They are all community driven. If your language plugin is 100% translated then the strings should already be translated. See the below for translation resources. You can also find information on the below page if you wish to contribute to a language plugin.

www.joomlapolis.com/localization

If you're not using CBs login module then you won't see any language string changes. Same for if you've a Joomla template overriding our modules layout and not using CBs API to output the strings.

I have figured out that the CB Login module on my Spanish side is loading the default language. My US English side is working fine because it doesn't load the default language. From what I have read in your documentation and tutorials is that it would "automatically" switch to the correct language when the site language switches. It is not doing that here. What needs to be done to assure that it change to the Spanish language pack when the site is switched to Spanish? Or, what could be causing it to not switch when it should be?

How are you switching languages? Language usage is based off the users selected language. If the user isn't logged in then it uses the sites default language. If you're logged in then edit your user and adjust your language to Spanish and see if it's displaying fine.

I'm using the Joomla! language switcher module.

What doesn't make sense to me is, not being logged in on the front-end and looking at the registration form in English, I see everything translated fine. That's both default fields and custom fields as defined by my English (US) language pack, not my default language. When I flip to Spanish (using the Joomla! language switcher module), I see all the default fields with their English translations as defined by the default language pack and anything that is a custom field has it's _UE_ constant showing. If I put those constants in my Spanish language override file and give them a variable, the Spanish form picks those up. If I try to override one of the default field constants, it doesn't work and still shows the default language pack value. So the English override seems to be working fine. The Spanish override works only if it isn't actually overriding something that is default.

What you are saying compared to what I am seeing is very confusing.

What do you mean by override? Using a language override plugin or by adding/changing those strings directly in the Spanish language plugin files? The language override plugin is not a guarantee, but a possible workaround for a feature we currently don't have.
