I will setup a new test environment next week and report findings.

Oh thanks. So we'll be able to tell next week as to whether it's caused by something in the CBSubs code or whether it is still down to my server or PayPal setup?

Hi Beat. Just wondering whether your testing had thrown up issues with the new PayPal security as yet?

Thanks

Jim

I could setup a new paypal sandbox account, and good news, could reproduce your error.

Now looking into what's the issue.

Thanks for the update! I'd just about exhausted all other avenues, so it's good to know you've pinpointed the issue.

Would you let me know when the new version is available or is there somewhere I can check?

Many thanks

Jim

After several days of investigation, this issue, affecting only Paypal Sandbox, and only since mid-October was due to Paypal suddenly requiring HTTP 1.1 on the Sandbox IPN and PDT verify HTTP requests, without any plans to also enforce this requirement on production platform. Additionally it is now also using persistent connections and Transfer-Encoding: chunked.

All 3 items had to be implemented to solve this issue.

Bug #6300 (solved)

The latest nightly (CBSubs main plugin upgrade required at very least) is now available in Downloads and fixes this issue.
