[SOLVED] GroupJive: Allowing users to view group listing but not access without login

8 years 4 days ago - 8 years 4 days ago #287260 by catchupnews
Is it possible to view group listing via component and module when not logged in but restrict access to the group unless user login? Currently, setting GroupJive to 'Registered' access removes listing unless user login. Any work-around this?

Resolved using CB Auto Action and setting up a redirect to login page for all no-registered users using the gj_onBeforeDisplayGroup trigger.

Yes, but you'll need to use CB Auto Actions as follows.

Global
Triggers: gj_onBeforeDisplayGroup
Type: Redirect
User: User
Access: All Non-Registered Users
Action
URL: index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=login
Message: Please login or register to view groups.
Type: Warning

That should send public users to CBs login page when attempting to access a group.
