Override Community Builder JQuery

Override Community Builder JQuery was created by ScribbledPages
Hi there,

I've noticed that since I installed Community Builder, some of my other components are not working correctly. I did some searching online, and found this:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9423625/community-builder-jquery-breaks-my-own-jquery-code

It would appear that the JQuery in CB is conflicting with the Joomla JQuery, which is basically breaking my other components.

I need to override the CB JQuery. Is there some way to do this without changing code? If not, could you show me EXACTLY where to insert that code (in other words, copy and paste the code before and after, and highlight the changes I need to make?

Thanks.

Never mind. Figured it out from the config. All the tabs are showing now too. Looks like it was a conflict between the two that was causing all the trouble.

Okay, so that fixed CB, but all my other components are still not working.

How do I get a refund? I'd rather get my money back, and use Jomsocial instead. Thanks.

Regarding this topic if anyone should have a similar question CBs jQuery runs in a deep noConflict. This means it can't conflict. We also revert the global jQuery namespace after CBs jQuery has loaded so again it can't conflict. The only way for Joomla jQuery to have issues is it's loaded in the middle of CB loading and possibly using CBs jQuery namespace, but that would be an issue with Joomla jQuery not using a deep noConflict.

Additionally you can turn off CBs jQuery within CB > Configuration > Integrations if you choose to load your own jQuery. If you want to use JS compression to better optimize your headers without having to turn off CBs jQuery then JCH Optimizer is supported (and used here and on our demo site).
