I noticed that a new CB Privacy update provides a "[Select All]" option. How is this different than selecting the Public option?

Is there somewhere on your site that identifies what one can expect (new functionality, fixes, etc.) when installing an updated release?

Also, I noticed that the CB Privacy update was displayed in the Community Builder Updates section on the Joomla! Control Panel, but the new Community Builder and CB GroupJive updates were not. Why is this?

Ensure CB and CB Privacy are both up to date. There is no select all usage.

The version checker is cached so we don't slam our servers with version check requests. Give it a few hours or clear your Joomla cache to force it to re-cache.

Updating CB with the latest Community Builder update did eliminate the "[Select All]" option we were seeing. It's been several days, though, since CB and GroupJive updates were available and we still haven't seen any update notifications for them. In fact, our test site was last refreshed 3 CB version/builds (2.0.15+build.2016.10.28.00.17.56.67b9f2728) ago, but no CB notifications were received for updated builds. Our Test Environment has Joomla Caching disabled: System > Global Configuration > System > Cache - is set to "OFF - Caching disabled." Any ideas why we haven't seen notifications for CB and GroupJive?

We do not provide notifications at this time for new CB nightly builds. The latest release for GJ is 3.0.1+build.2016.11.02.21.24.52.5e2eeda84. The version checker is just an HTTP request to grab a versions XML file which is cached in Joomlas cache folder. You should see cblatestversion.xml and cbpluginsversions.xml in your Joomla cache folder. If not then the HTTP request maybe failing (e.g. outbound firewall, storage problem, etc..).
