Joomla! 3.6.4 Stable
CB version: 2.0.15
CBSubs version: 4.1.0+build.2016.09.20 (latest)

Here is the problem that has to do with password changing by itself

The hashed password of example user before any change on the backend
Hashed password ends on "zesnu"

Open profile of example user make no changes, save and close on backend
Hashed password ends on "zesnu" (hashed password remains the same)

Open profile of example user, change any field, save and close on backend
Hashed password ends on "zesnu" (hashed password remains the same)

Open profile of example user apply a CBSubs plan to the user save and close on backend
Hashed password ends on "C5mtW" (hashed password changes by itself and user can not login anymore)

Open profile of example user remove, or change plan, save and close backend
Hashed password ends on "ROgvq" (hashed password changes by itself and user can not login anymore)

So i think that there is something wrong with CBSubs that is modifying the users password.

Please advise.
Thank you in advance.

If using CB Auto Actions please disable it and see if issue persists. If using CBSubs Fields please disable it and see if issue persists. Issues like this happen when a user store is triggered and the password hasn't been nulled resulting in it hashing the hashed password string.

Yes you are right!

I disabled CB Auto Actions, tested and no password changed.

The problem now is that we need auto actions!

Is there any solution?

What actions are you using that are acting on CBSubs triggers?

Ok i disabled the auto actions related to CBSubs (mostly mails) and issue seems resolved.

I will keep monitoring and let you know if problem comes up again.

What action types are you using? This maybe an issue in the action type that would need to be fixed. Most actions that do a user store have already been setup to null the password to prevent this issue.
