Hi,

Could you tell us how to set up AutoActions to send Message and / or Connection request to newly registered users?

CB AqutoWelcome does this exactly.

Yes, but although CB Auto Welcome is configured to not send emails it also does send emails which we don't want. With CB Auto Welcome the newly registered user gets 3 emails after registering which is very annoying. We just want the user to receive PM and Connection request without emails when he first signs up.

Within CB Auto Welcome set "Notification Method" to "PM Only". It should send no email at that point. If it still is it's probably UddeIM sending a PM notification email that would need to be turned off in UddeIM. If you still want to use CB Auto Actions then use the after user registration trigger with whatever actions you like (there's both a Private Message and Connection actions available).

It is already "PM Only" within CB Auto Welcome.

You are probably right that UddeIM is sending PM notification email, but if turned off in UddeIM then the user will not get any email notifications when he receives new message.

In the Private Message action in the "To" field what should be entered please?

In the Connection action what should we enter in the "Users" field?

Well if you've UddeIM configured to send notifications then sending a PM through CB Auto Actions is also going to send a notification so you're right back to square 1 with the exact same results of using CB Auto Welcome.

In the Private Message action in the "To" field what should be entered please?

In the Connection action what should we enter in the "Users" field?

Please read the parameter descriptions carefully. For PMs if you use [user_id] it'll be the user id of the person registering and is how you'd send a PM to the user registering. For the connection action it directly states to supply the user ids to connect the user to and by user it means whoever the user is for the trigger so you'd supply the user id of the user you want the registering user connected to.
