Hi,

After upgrading Auto Actions plugin, now the GroupJive Auto rules became part of the CB Auto actions plugin.

I used to use a GJ Auto - New Group action. In the past it wouldn't create a new group if there was already one with exact the same name. In that case the user was added to that group.

After upgraded the behavior of the rule changed. Now it always create a new group, so I get multiple groups with exact the same name, which we don't want.

How can I bring back the old functionality that the New Group GroupJive Auto Action will first check or the is already a group (from someone else) with that name and if there is already a group with exact that name it will not create a duplicated group but add the user as an active group member to that existing group.

Many thanks in advance,
Nico

That behavior was not changed. The action in CB Auto Actions is a 1:1 usage from GJ Auto. You need to ensure "Unique" is set to "No" then set "Auto Join" to "Yes". If it finds an existing group within the same category with the same name it'll join it instead of create one. If "Unique" is set to "Yes" it only looks for duplicates owned by the user creating the group.
