On 30 Dec 2016 I upgraded a website from CB 2.0 to CB 2.1
Over the following week we found that a member was unable to renew membership
- Could access the Renew Membership page.
- It correctly showed the membership had expired and displayed a button to 'Reactivate: ...'.
- Clicking the button had no effect - could not access the payment page.
On 6 Jan 2017 reverted back to CB 2.0 (restored from backup on 30 Dec 2016).
- Member now able to renew his membership.
- We re-entered postings posted to the CB 2.1 site.
- Website will continue using CB 2.0 until the problem is resolved.
Most likely your issue is caused by an external Joomla menu item to CBSubs. It needs to be internal. There's a bug in CB at this time that causes external menu items to be treated incorrectly during SEF usage. This has been investigated below using GJ.
Fix should be available in next CB build. The workaround is to find an edit your existing external Joomla menu items to CBSubs and change their type to Community Builder > Plugin then for Plugin select CB Paid Subscriptions. That should solve your issue if you don't wish to wait.
