When I try to register trough facebook on my site I get "Your Facebook sign up is incomplete. Please complete the following." But I have an email address in fb.

Facebook didn't provide the email address. Either your application isn't configured with the correct permissions to request one or your Facebook privacy won't provide one. In either case when it's missing you'll be asked to supply one to complete registration.

To see if email is allowed for your application edit it at developers.facebook.com then on "App Review" you should see "email" with a green circle under "Approved Items". See the below regarding the email permission.

Try removing the application from your Facebook account and reauthorizing it and in the permissions dialog it should explain what email address it's about to provide to the requesting application.

Also within CB Connect > Facebook > Registration do not map anything to username, email, avatar, etc.. core fields for the "Fields" parameter. Core fields like that are handled automatically.

Thanks. The "email" with a green circle under "Approved Items" is there. I deleted the app from my facebook account. No field mapping.

Now I get:
Failed API request /me. Error: Error validating access token: The user has not authorized application 326255110859703.

2. problem is that the user was not assigned to the usergroup I set it to when registered via fb (when it still worked).

You should see a permissions dialog to give permission to your application. I have no idea what you've done to break this entire process to be honest. It works fine in all my tests following the instructions below to configure it.

Are you trying to register a new account or link to an existing account? To link to an existing account you need to first login normally then use the Link button. I suppose you can try deleting your Facebook application or creating another one following the above instructions and see if it works.

I made a new app and follwed your tutorial. My FB email is public and available to my app but still the same "Your Facebook sign up is incomplete. Please complete the following". The other error did not appear again. I am trying to register a new account. What now?

For some reason Facebook is not passing your email address. I've no idea why, but it's not a guarantee that they will pass the email address (this is directly stated in their API as well and shouldn't be dependent on). You may have some sort of setting in your account or the app it self. Try using a different Facebook account like a friend or families and see if it does the same.
