If it's not editable at all it won't display on profile edit as it's completely excluded from the query. If it's editable then you can customize the edit output using the "Profile Edit Value Layout" parameter under the Parameters > Layout when editing your field within CB > Field Management. Alternative is to use a Custom HTML field and substitute in the field and add whatever icon, text, etc.. you want next to it as it outputs whatever HTML you supply.
