Hello,

By using Joomla router for SEF urls, the URLs for 'view user profile' include users' usernames in them. In my site, the problem is usernames are email addresses. I recently switched to Joomla router from sh404 URLs (which don't show usernames) for new GroupJive SEF URLs.

Any suggestions?

Use the Profile URL (alias) field were users can supply their own profile alias. Set the field required and they won't have a choice but to fill it out. It has validation to ensure the supplied value is unique as well. For existing users you'll have to wait for them to change it on next profile edit or edit their profiles and force it to something.
