Display Fields Horizontally

7 years 11 months ago #290722 by brockhaslam
Display Fields Horizontally was created by brockhaslam
I am using image fields for badges in a special tab on profiles. See example:

oasisoftwoscimitars.com/cb-profile/802-strada

I would like the images to display next to each other horizontally with the field titles beneath each one. (I've attached a mock up of what I mean)

Is there a way to achieve this?

There is no field display mode for that. You'll have to either use CSS to style the fields that way or substitute the fields into a Custom HTML field with whatever HTML you want. See the below for substitution usage information.

Thanks. I'm trying the custom HTML method.

Are you able to tell me why these IF statements aren't working?

Your WYSIWYG editor is escaping the substitutions. Switch to view source mode and you'll notice all the escaping. You'll need to be sure to supply your substitutions when using the view source mode.

Don't know what to tell you. Substitutions are working fine in my tests and our demo site below.

demo.cbdemosites.com/

Try turning off Joomlas WYSIWYG editor so it's just a textarea field then be sure to follow the usage examples shown in the substitutions tutorial below to see if it works then.
