Different registration form for each gropup of users

Hi,

I would like to ask if it is possible to have Different registration form for each gropup of users.

For example I would like to have 2 groups on my website.

- Customers
- Vendors

Customers will have some standrad fields in the profile, they will be assigned to Joomla group Registered.

But Vendors would have instead of name and surname , name of company or other fields which users will not have in their profile. Vendors accounts will be assigned to Joomla group Authors.

Yes, using CB Conditional you can have a select field for them to select their profile type. Next you'd condition other fields to show/hide based off the profile type they selected.

Thank you very much. I will do that with CB Conditional plugin.

One more question.

Is there any possibility to assign users to different Joomla groups during registration?

For example by default users will register as registered but after selecting some option they will have different registration form ( with help of cb conditional plugin) and their account will be assignet to the Joomla group "Authors"?

Yes that's doable, you'll need to create a Usergroup action on the after user registration trigger in CB Auto Actions. If you need it to condition against specific field values be sure to add those under the conditions tab. Next under the Action tab set Mode to Add Usergroups and for Groups select Author.
