How can I hide or disable the options for the user to Delete or Un-Publish entries made in their Profilebook? I am using this as a way for users to leave feedback for each other and I only want Super Users to be able to Delete or Un-Publish entries. I only want the user to be able to respond to entries (Give Feedback) or Return Gesture.

You can't without modifying the plugin or just using CSS to tried and visually hide them. You may want to consider using CB Activity and its Comments fieldtype for that instead.

I installed CB Activity and created Comments field, but it seems that one can only post a comment on another user's profile if you have a Connection (I have Connections installed and functioning). I have searched all settings and cannot find the place where I can allow comments to a profile without a connection. How can I achieve this?

Unfortunately that can't be disabled at this time, but will be possible in the next release (CB Activity 4.0.0). So currently it does enforce checking for connected status before allowing someone to comment.
