"Path not in open_basedir paths"

"Path not in open_basedir paths" was created by mfriedrichs
Hello.

I installed CB as usual (i've done it often before in the last years).
When i set link to the registration form and click it, i only get an error that says "Path not in open_basedir paths".
But,- every other thing on the site ist working fine.
Furthermore, in openbasedir is already an entry for the main Directory above the web-root (and,- of course, -the Servers /temp).
More "openbasedir" is not possible, i guess?
What tries the registration form to reach, that could possibily lay outside the /temp and the rootest root-directory available?

Please help, or at least: gimme a hint.

Thanks.
Michael

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then reproduce the error and provide the full error. Without the path for the error I've no idea where it's coming from. If still not displaying enough details check your server error log. My guess is you're trying to upload something during registration and the paths in Joomla may not be set correctly.

The Registrationformular doesnt show up, after clicking the "registration" Link (in the site menu!).
There is no Formular shown since then, for that - there will surely be no File-upload.
For now, i followed a "workaround" and changed a core file,- something like /system/path.php.
I had to disable the line that checks openbasedir parameters,- what doesnt seem to be a real solution at all.
I'll try this weekend to look into all of these error-reporting files.
But honestly, - i *really* hoped, there was just a simple solution for that (looking for any log-files on a plesk Server is no fun thing to do, as they are seem to be spreaded randomized over the whole Server-structure..).
I check in again, when i've done this.

With debug mode and maximum error reporting enabled your registration is showing a blank page? Please check server error log for details regarding the error. I can not suggest anything without the full error message as I've no idea where your error is even coming from.

No, no, no,- i didn't mentioned a "blank" page,- the registration form doesn*t shows up. That's all.
Instead of the registration site there is only an error message in the center of the normal site. Quite simple.
Yes,- i understood, that you need to know more,- and as i wrote "I check in again, when i've done this.".
But,- i guess, if i found the right error log on a messy plesk-Server, - i can add the path in the openbasdir directive on my own.

And the miracle still remains:
Why does the registration form need any other openbasedir than /temp and /webroot...??
I dig into it,- on the Weekend.

I don't know what to tell you without the full error. You need to check your server error log for the error and provide the full error. As is I've no idea what file it's coming from or what line of code in that file.
