How to setup the time for Auto Update was created by timstohr
Hi Kyle,
I will fire loads of questions during the next coming days... Here is one important one where I havent found the result for it. How can I set the time of the Auto Update?
Also, I havent quite understood how it is supposed to work... I had thought that it would insert the new activities...

Also, the module does not allow caching. In advanced options, you cannot set the option "Global cache" but only "No Cache"

Regards
Tim

You can not configure the auto update time. It is hardcoded at this time.

That's exactly what it does. After 1 minute it checks if there have been any posts. If not it retries up to 30 times before it gives up and stops checking for new posts (this is to stop people from leaving their computer forever pinging your site). If there are new posts they are added to the top of the stream and the counter resets back to 0 and the process repeats. None of this is configurable beyond enabling or disabling at this time. I may or may not allow this to be configured as it would be extremely easy to cripple your site if configured incorrectly.

It can't be cached. It's dynamic content.
