CB ProfileBook

Hi,

I know you don't like to be asked about work in progress, but I have been patiently waiting almost 2 years for an update to CB ProfileBook.
Specifically to lose the BB Code and ugly old look, in favour of the current Joomla/CB look with the Joomla editor.

It has been for a very long time the one thing that lets down the appearance of my site.

Appreciate CB ProfileBook turning up on someone's radar.

Thanks
David

CB Profile Book functionality is basically replaced by CB Activity (custom activity and/or comment streams) and CB Blogs. Rating can be replaced by a simple Rating field. Will review CB Profile Book rewrite after CB Privacy rewrite though and see what I can do.

Thanks for the update, I've looked at the rating field and figured out how to carry over the existing ratings, by updating #__comprofiler_ratings and setting item to the id of the new field.

I don't suppose you have any sql for migrating the blog entries, I have around 500 rows and prefer not to figure out converting BBCode if SQL already exists.

Thanks
David

EDIT: I take that back, clearly I had used the simple rating field before and the existing rows relate to those, so I need to figure out how to migrate CB Profile Book ratings to #__comprofiler_ratings

I've no migration SQL for CB ProfileBook to CB Blogs, sorry. That'll be added to CB ProfileBook when rewritten as it'll be necessary for migrating existing stored usages. I'll also be updating the UI, etc.. to match CB. CB Privacy will likely be done next week and will begin work on the CB ProfileBook rewrite then.
